The vines for the Principauté d’Orange Viognier are planted on a surface of pebble, sand and large boulders. The grapes are picked entirely by hand and selected extremely strictly, both during the picking and on the sorting tables and after a pneumatic pressing a temperature-controlled fermentation follows. After fermentation, the wine matures „sur lie” for 6 months in oak barrels (25% new wood). All wines are classically made and excel by the combination of power and finesse. The Pays de la Principauté d’Orange IGP Viognier is a 100% viognier. In the glass beautiful straw yellow with in the nose the obvious Viognier tones with spring flowers, yellow fruit and freshness. On the palate, wine is creamy, full bodied, fruity with a pleasant fraîcheur in the aftertast
